Chris appointed as a non-executive director of Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust

The Edinburgh-based firm’s long-term investment philosophy and track record of backing emerging technology companies meant the appointment was a perfect fit.  

The Trust seeks to invest predominantly in listed and unlisted US companies, which Baillie Gifford believes have the potential to grow substantially faster than the average company, and to hold onto them in order to produce long-term capital growth. 

Chris’s status as one of Scotland’s leading entrepreneurs working across the technology, media, gaming and entertainment sectors was a key factor in his appointment, and he will bring experience of being chairman of Puny Astronaut, TVSquared, Broker Insights, Stormcloud Games and Parsley Box Plc, as well as his board roles at Blippar, Ace Aquatec, and ADV Holdings.
